Website Design

I have been doing website design for 10 years in Richmond, VA. I am very knowledgeable with PhotoShop and DreamWeaver. What I generally do is talk to a client about what they want or sites they like to get an idea of what they want. I’ll draft up some concepts in PhotoShop to give them some ideas of what their site can look like. I’ve found this to work out well and save time on both ends.

I try to keep up with all the latest standards and techniques. I’m always one to research new methods and concepts when creating websites.

Programming

I have a true passion for programming. There is just something about writing code and seeing it come to life I enjoy. I’ve been programming now for about 8 years. I started with some simple macro programming and quickly moved to web programming. Like everything it progressed from 1 language to another. So far my progression of web languages has been, VBScript, ASP, ASP.Net and PHP.

I use to be one of those people who swore by Microsoft and loved ASP. At the time it was my answer to everything. I’ve been using PHP for the past 2 years now and really loving it. With the newer version of PHP having true object oriented programing makes life so much easier.

Like everything else, I keep up with new languages and techniques. I think I’m at a point in my programing knowledge that I can quickly and easily pick up any new language. Once you learn a couple, the concepts are the same and it’s all just different syntax.

Consultation

If there is any type of computer system, networking, website, phone system or whatever. If it’s a computer system I can give you some recommendations. I’ve got a knack for looking at the big picture and giving you some recommendations on what to do. I’ve recommended document management systems for clients who share and use a lot of documents inner offices. Recommended different VOIP phone system to give more features and flexibility. Best of all, I generally can implement all these systems as well or recommend someone who can.

Computer Repair

I truly can do just about anything with computers. If I can’t I’ll be the first to tell you but you know what? I’ll research and give you your options. I can do any type of basic repair on computers. If your computer is slow or infected with some type of virus or malware I can get it cleaned.
